Internal System Release Notes June 15th, 2026

*Internal* System Release Notes June 15th

UPDATE – Seller Assignment on the Create New Lot Modal

When manually creating a new lot within the Catalog, you can now assign a seller directly from the Create New Lot modal. Previously, seller assignments could only be made in bulk or individually through the Accounting tab.

This enhancement provides a more user-friendly experience and helps streamline the process of assigning sellers to lots.

Important: Sellers must be checked into the auction before they will appear in the Seller dropdown list.

To locate a checked-in seller, you can either:

  • Browse the dropdown list, or
  • Begin typing the seller's name in the search field.

As you type, matching results will be highlighted and displayed, making it easier to quickly find and assign the correct seller.

UPDATE - Seller Commission Assignment in the Seller Check-In Modal

When checking in a seller from within an auction, you will now have the ability to select the applicable seller commission rate directly from the Seller Check-In modal.

If a seller’s commission rate is undefined, the default option selected in the dropdown will automatically be the auction’s commission rate. This can be seen in the first screenshot example below.

If you need to assign a different commission rate for the seller, simply click the dropdown menu on the right side of the modal. From there, you can select from the available commission rate templates that have already been created and saved within the system.

In the example below, when checking in Joseph Espinosa, his commission rate is listed as undefined. As a reminder, an undefined seller commission rate means the seller will automatically use the commission rate assigned to the auction.

During check-in, the system automatically selects the auction’s commission structure, which in this example is “Standard.” If a different commission structure is needed, click the dropdown arrow on the right side of the Seller Check-In modal and select the appropriate commission rate template from the available options.

If the seller has a permanent seller commission rate already defined, the default option selected in the dropdown will automatically be the seller’s assigned commission rate.

However, you still have the flexibility to select a different commission rate for that specific auction by choosing another option from the dropdown menu. Changing the commission rate during check-in will only apply to the current auction and will not overwrite the seller’s permanent commission rate. The original seller commission rate will remain saved and will continue to be available for future auctions.

Please note that you can still edit and adjust the commission rate after selecting it from this modal. Simply click the commission label on the right-hand side in the Sellers tab within the specific auction, open the modal, make your changes, and click Save.
